What to Bring

Come Prepared for 1-Day WP Workshop

In order to maximize your learning experience, please bring the following recommended items when you attend 1-Day WP Workshop – January 29, 2011:

1. Laptop with Wi-Fi capability (Wi-Fi will be provided)
2. Power Cord for Laptop
3. Extension Cord for Power Cord
4. Note Pad and Writing Pen
5. Domain Name and / or Web Hosting Account Information, including:
   • Customer Account Login ID
   • Customer Account Password
6. FTP Account Information:
   • FTP Host Name (i.e. ftp.yourdomainname.com)
   • FTP Login ID
   • FTP Password
7. Prepare TWO Additional Sets of Login IDs and Passwords:
   1. Unique IDs and Passwords (do not make them the same as your regular IDs or Logins for any other accounts)
   2. These will be used for your WordPress installation and MySQL Database
8. Credit Card or PayPal Account Information if:
   • You are establishing a NEW Domain Name
   • You are setting up a NEW Web Hosting Account
9. Download FTP Editor:
   • FileZilla is recommended
   • Firefox Filezilla plugin is very good
10. Download Firefox Web Browser (can be completed in the workshop)
11. Install Firebug Firefox Plugin (can be completed in the workshop)
